Three faculty members have received the 2018 Canadian Association for Medical Education (CAME) Certificate of Merit Award. This award promotes, recognizes and rewards faculty committed to medical education in Canadian medical schools.
The recipients, Drs. Brenda Hardie, Adam Peets and Joana Gil-Mohapel will be recognized at the Canadian Conference on Medical Education (CCME) in Halifax from April 28 to May 1, 2018.
Brenda Hardie
Clinical Instructor, Department of Family Practice
Dr. Hardie is also the Postgraduate Program Faculty Lead, Faculty Development and Associate Program Director for the Department of Family Practice.
Adam Peets
Clinical Associate Professor, Division of Critical Care, Department of Medicine
Dr. Peets has been actively involved at UBC, teaching, educational scholarship and educationally-related administrative roles.
Joana Gil-Mohapel
Adjunct Professor, Island Medical Program
Dr. Gil-Mohapel is also the MEDD Course Co-Director and Master Teacher for the Island Medical Program.
