Six members from the faculty of medicine’s department of physical therapy are award recipients of the 2021 Physiotherapy Association of British Columbia (PABC) Annual Awards.
Each year, the PABC recognizes members who make outstanding contributions to the profession.
2021 recipients:

Sue Murphy
Sue Murphy, department head, is honoured with the PABC Award of Excellence: Lifetime Achievement for her outstanding contributions throughout her career.
“I am overwhelmed to have received this recognition – not only because it feels amazing to be given an award for something I love to do, but also because I have always been in awe of those who have won it before me! Being nominated by peers is such a great honour – I can’t thank everyone enough for being so kind to take the time to put in the nomination,” Murphy says.
