Faculty of medicine researchers awarded funding to improve health outcomes in B.C. and beyond

Faculty of medicine researchers are among the UBC recipients of the Michael Smith Health Research BC 2022 Health Professional-Investigator awards.

The Health Professional-Investigator Program supports health professionals to develop and advance research with the goal of bringing research evidence into practice within the health system.

This year’s award recipients are health professionals actively involved in patient care and tackling a broad range of health challenges. This award will support them to conduct and apply research relevant to health and/or the health system — to ultimately improve health outcomes in BC and beyond.
