Alison Hoens, Clinical Professor and Knowledge Broker, Department of Physical Therapy receives this year’s Enid Graham Memorial Lecture Award from The Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA).
The Enid Graham Memorial Lecture Award is one of the most prestigious awards bestowed by the CPA. Along with receiving this award, the recipient will present a lecture on the topic of their choice. Hoens will be delivering a 45-minute lecture of her choice at the annual CPA Congress in Montreal during the opening ceremony on November 1, 2018.
Hoens’ contributions to her profession span the realms of clinical practice, pre-and post licensure education, and research provincially, nationally, and internationally. In her unique role as Knowledge Broker, she has facilitated partnerships in over 50 projects between more than 400 researchers, clinicians, decision makers, and patients in clinically relevant research and in the development of resources and tools to support evidence informed practice.
