Peter Leung wins the 2016 John McNeill Excellence in Health Research Mentorship Award

Leung, Professor, Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology receives the 2016 John McNeill Excellence in Health Research Mentorship Award. Dr. Leung receives this award based on his outstanding accomplisments as a research scholar and mentor over more than three decades at UBC, and the extent of the impact his mentorship has made on his many trainees.

This prestigious award recognizes outstanding mentorship by faculty members at any stage in their academic career in any of UBC’s health-related disciplines and who have served a minimum of two continuous years at UBC’s Vancouver Campus. The award is valued at $10,000 and will be awarded annually by the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences in honour of Dean Emeritus John McNeill.

UBC Health will be hosting an annual Awards Reception in the Spring 2017.
