Dina Panagiotopoulos receives 2017 Women of Distinction Award

Dina Panagiotopoulos, Clinical Professor, Department of Pediatrics received the 2017 Women of Distinction Award presented by YWCA Metro Vancouver.

Dr. Dina Panagiotopoulos was recognized in the Health & Wellness category, which celebrates women who deliver, promote and advocate for healthy lives and communities. As a nationally-recognized leader in pediatric diabetes, Dr. Panagiotopoulos is also the founder and director of the Type 2 Diabetes and Provincial Mental Health Metabolic Programs at BC Children’s Hospital.

Now in its 34th year, the YWCA Women of Distinction Awards honours extraordinary women leaders whose outstanding achievements contribute to the wellbeing and future of communities across Metro Vancouver.
