
Bill Miller
Dr. Miller completed his undergraduate degree in Occupational Therapy at UBC followed by graduate studies in Occupational Therapy, and Epidemiology and Biostatics at the University of Western Ontario. After completing a post-doctoral fellowship in Rehabilitation Sciences, he joined UBC’s Department of Occupational Science & Occupational Therapy.
For over a decade Dr. Miller has provided exceptional instruction and research mentorship to students in the Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation Sciences graduate programs, as well as continuing education to occupational therapists and other health professionals.
Since 2013, Dr. Miller has also served as the Associate Dean, Health Professions Education, where he provides strategic leadership to the health profession education programs within the Faculty of Medicine.
The Barbara Sexton Lectureship, established in 1999, pays tribute to the contributions of Barbara Sexton, who dedicated her career to the profession of occupational therapy and its advancement, both nationally and internationally.
