Program: Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science
Year in program: 4th year

Hometown: Vancouver, BC

What inspired you to pursue your program?
I came across the BMLSc program while perusing online for different majors across the health sciences field. While reading the course descriptions, I realized that the program combines both laboratory and lecture, which was what I desired for all my courses.

What are you looking forward to most this upcoming year?
Throughout my 3rd year in the BMLSc. program, I learned and obtained so much knowledge regarding the pathophysiology of diseases while gaining close friendships. I’m really excited to get back together with my classmates and absorb even more! There is also a directed studies course that I’ll be taking this year with the Pollution Lab at Vancouver General Hospital. The lab has some of the best people I’ve ever met so I’m elated that I get to work with them come September!

What’s one thing we might be surprised to learn about you?
I used to practice archery! My bow and arrows are somewhere around the house.

Best piece of advice:
Take time to treat yo’ self!

What superpower do you wish you had?
Shapeshifting

Where in the world would you like to get lost?
Stockholm, Sweden!
