
Dr. Paul Dagg
Paul Dagg, Clinical Professor, Department of Psychiatry receives the 2016 Duncan Graham Award. This national honorary award is named for Dr. Duncan Graham, chair of the Department of Medicine of the University of Toronto from 1919 to 1947. The Duncan Graham Award has been recognizing outstanding lifelong contribution to medical education since 1969.
Dr. Paul Dagg is the program medical director for the Mental Health and Substance Use Program for the Interior Health Authority of British Columbia. Prior to moving west, he worked as director of Clinical Services at the Royal Ottawa Hospital and assistant dean for Postgraduate Education in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Ottawa. Dr. Dagg has made invaluable contributions to postgraduate medical education in Canada. This includes playing an instrumental role in the development of the Practice Eligibility Route (Route B) practice-based assessment pilot process for candidates in Psychiatry. Dr. Dagg is also on the editorial board for the Journal of Ethics in Mental Health.
