Graydon Meneilly elected as APM Council Member At-Large

Dr. Graydon Meneilly

Dr. Graydon Meneilly, Professor and Head of UBC Department of Medicine has been elected an APM Council Member At-Large of the Alliance for Academic Internal Medicine (AAIM),  a consortium of five academically focused specialty organizations representing departments of internal medicine at medical schools and teaching hospitals in the United States and Canada. His three year term will begin July 1, 2015.

Board-certified in internal medicine and geriatrics, Dr. Meneilly earned his medical degree from the University of Saskatchewan. He then completed his residency at the University of Toronto. He subsequently underwent a fellowship in geriatric medicine and gerontology in the Division of Aging at Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Meneilly’s primary area of professional interest and expertise is diabetes in the elderly. Other professional appointments include member of the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences and the Canadian Association of Professors of Medicine.
