Faculty members win the NSERC Brockhouse Canada prize

The Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) has awarded Faculty of Medicine scientists with the Brockhouse Canada prize.

The recipients from UBC include Drs. Paul Schaffer, François Bénard and Anna Celler from the Department of Radiology, and Dr. Thomas Ruth in the Division of Neurology, for their outstanding teamwork in realizing a solution for safe and reliable isotope production for hospitals in Canada.  Read more about their research here.

The NSERC Brockhouse Canada Prize was presented by the Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada in a ceremony in Ottawa, on February 17, 2015.
