Dr. Peter von Dadelszen receives the 2014 APOG award.
Peter von Dadelszen, Professor at the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology has been awarded the 2014 APOG Excellence in Research Award. This national award recognizes outstanding scientific leadership, research mentoring, creative effort and major research accomplishments of a Canadian reseacher (or research group) who is an active member of Association of Academic Professionals in Obstetrics and Gynaecology of Canada (APOG).
Dr. Peter von Dadelszen, is also leading a set of projects funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation aimed at pre-eclampsia in the developing world through community-level prevention, case identification, monitoring, and treatment. He is also leading other projects funded in Canada.
The award was given out in Toronto on December 6, 2014.
