Four faculty members are among 150 Canadians being recognized as Mental Health Difference Makers by the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH).
From more than 3,700 names put forward from across the country, the Faculty of Medicine’s Jehannine Austin, Skye Barbic, Perry Kendall, and Todd Woodward are among 150 Canadians being honoured this year as part of the CAMH Difference Makers movement, a national initiative celebrating individuals who are changing the course of mental health.
Dr. Jehannine Austin, Associate Professor in the Departments of Psychiatry and Medical Genetics
In 2012, Dr. Austin established the world’s first specialty clinic for psychiatric genetic counselling. Dr. Skye Barbic, Assistant Professor, Department of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy

Dr. Perry Kendall, Clinical Professor, School of Population and Public Health

Dr. Todd Woodward, Professor, Department of Psychiatry
Dr. Woodward is committed to giving people living with schizophrenia the tools to manage harmful thoughts. As co-developer of a free program called metacognitive training (MCT), he is working to improve the lives of thousands of people living with schizophrenia and their communities.
