Biography
As Senior Advisor, Government Relations, Gabriel Rose builds collaborative relationships with the provincial government and provides advice to the Dean and Vice President, Health in support of UBC’s health programs and health research in alignment with priorities set by the provincial government.
For more than two decades, Mr. Rose has dedicated his career to advancing strategic initiatives in the public and not-for-profit sectors, with a particular focus on health and post-secondary education. In previous roles with the Faculty of Medicine, he helped to lead various projects, including refreshing the strategic plan, developing multiple program expansion and distribution proposals, renewing the MD curriculum, and redesigning the Faculty’s governance structure.
