Members of UBC’s National Core for Neuroethics were prominently featured in the July 4 edition of the journal Science, called “NextGen Voices.”
The journal solicited responses to the question, “”What is the most challenging ethical question facing young investigators in your field? How should it be addressed?” It printed excerpts of 15 responses, and posted another 30 online.
Among the 15 responses, six submission from the National Core for Neuroethics were chosen. Four responses — from Shelly Benjaminy, Karen Jacob, Cody Lo and Nina Di Pietro — appeared in print. Two others — from Jacqueline Davidson and Julie Robillard — were included online.
