About the Symposium
The Transforming Health Symposium is a flagship event hosted by the UBC Faculty of Medicine. The Symposium convenes global thought leaders, clinicians, researchers, trainees and industry experts to explore how biomedical innovations can be translated into tangible health solutions. New to the event this year is the UBC AI and Health Network, which will host a dedicated half-day forum. This is an opportunity for exemplary program leads to share early results and demonstrate how to apply AI tools to real-world health challenges, paving the way for widespread and impactful AI integration in the healthcare system.
Transforming biomedical innovation for real-world health
The Symposium focuses on accelerating the translational pathway – from discovery to deployment – by integrating B.C.’s life sciences strengths into a cohesive system. Through keynote presentations, panels and showcases, participants engage in dialogue on how to move therapeutics, AI innovations, diagnostics and technologies through development and regulatory pipelines more efficiently, equitably and sustainably.
Additional speaker details will be added as they are confirmed.
