Members of the UBC faculty of medicine community have received support from the 2022-23 Community-University Engagement Support (CUES) Fund.
This year, the CUES Fund has awarded over $745,000 to 31 community-university projects that will benefit communities and advance collaborative research, teaching, and learning. Receiving up to $25,000 each, these partnerships are exceptional examples of how communities are collaborating with students, faculty and staff to address priority issues across the province.
Paid directly to community partners, CUES funding prioritizes reciprocal, inclusive engagement so all communities — especially those that have been historically, persistently or systemically marginalized — can benefit.
