Clinical Faculty

Photo of teaching session By working alongside clinical faculty members, the next generation of health care providers -- whether they be physicians, occupational therapists, physical therapists, genetic counselors, midwives, speech therapists or audiologists -- will be fully prepared for the challenges of serving the needs of their patients and clients.

Clinical faculty members have always made a large contribution to the education of the MD undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate students in the Faculty of Medicine. Now numbering more than 4,500 members, clinical faculty have enabled the Faculty of Medicine to become an integrated, province-wide enterprise.

Clinical Faculty Handbook update:
The handbook is currently being revised. Check back in early 2012 for an updated version.

New appointment policy for clinical faculty:
Several steps have been taken to streamline the appointment process and make it simpler and more efficient. The appointment policy for clinical faculty members teaching in the MD programs is here, and the policy for those not teaching in the MD programs is here.
