What’s next for you?

I have recently begun a research assistant position in the UBC School of Kinesiology, and am in the process of applying for the Master of Physical Therapy program at UBC. I hope to take a bike trip this summer, somewhere down the Pacific Coast!

What have you enjoyed most about your experience at UBC and specifically your time in your program?

I am truly grateful for the opportunity to work among the best colleagues I could ever have asked for. These people are scholars and experts in their own areas of research, a bundle of fun, and exceptional mentors. I have been lucky enough to make friends with such folks, and consider it the highlight of my academic career.

What’s one piece of advice you would offer to incoming students?

Do not rush it. If you can count on anything, the next two or more years of your life will pass by – and you will not get them back. So savor this opportunity. The next one will inevitably come.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years from now?

Honestly, I have no idea! But I see a happy “me” in 5 years time.

What’s one thing we might be surprised to learn about you?

I can wiggle my ears!
