Larry Goldenberg, Professor and former Head of the Department of Urologic Sciences and Founding Director of the Vancouver Prostate Centre receives the Societe Internationale D’Urologie Distinguished Career Award. This award is in recognition of his contribution to the field of urology.

“I’m very proud of the programs that I’ve developed over the course of my career and nurturing the career of young scientists to achieve their own dreams.”

Dr. Goldenberg continues his work at improving men’s health and quality of life through leadership, research and disseminating best practices in the treatment of prostate cancer at the Vancouver Prostate Centre; and awareness and education campaigns through the Canadian Men’s Health Foundation.

The 36th Congress of Société Internationale d’Urologi award ceremony was held in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
