Mentoring Program
Message from Dean Gavin Stuart

I am pleased to announce the Faculty of Medicine mentoring program as a welcome and critical component of faculty career development. Mentoring a junior faculty member through the challenges of establishing a career, understanding the academic environment and finding life balance can be stimulating and rewarding. Their success will be enhanced by this program and the commitment of mentors will be valued and recognized as an important contribution to the Faculty and University. We have all experienced the role of a junior faculty member and variably benefited from the mentoring of senior colleagues. Through this Faculty program we are seeking to ensure consistency and support for all junior faculty. I believe that as senior faculty members, we all share a professional and collegial responsibility to contribute to our Faculty by participating in the program. I thank you in advance for your commitment.
