ABOUT THE VISITING STUDENT ELECTIVE PROGRAM - (VSEP)
The Visiting Student Elective Program (VSEP) functions as part of the UBC Distributed Program. (Please see the Distributed Programs Development page for details). Visiting students thus take part in electives offered throughout B.C. at our various teaching locations as do our own Year 4 students.

Each elective is a senior clerkship and is supervised by a physician who holds a Clinical Faculty Appointment. Students who complete an UBC Senior Year 4 Clinical Clerkship Elective will have the privilege of being part of an organic and far reaching Program in which the opportunities for learning are varied and robust.
